Computers to merge with humans
By 2020, the terms “interface” and “users” will be obsolete as computers merge ever closer with humans. It predicts fundamental changes in the field of so-called Human-Computer Interaction(HCI).

Apple, google and everyone else - Who owns the customer experience?
This is not an article for you to read, but I personally think the writer raised an interesting question, “Who actually owns the design of user experience?” We all know who it should be, but what’s the answer in the real world?

Middle-aged users’ declining web performance
This is a nice summary of Jakob Nielsen’s recent article. The main purpose of this article is trying to raise the awareness of designing for older generations, but only for IT geeks.

Extreme user research
Most of us have more or less experienced that in the real business it is always difficult to conduct a detailed user study because of the time, resources and costs etc. Hence, user experience researchers have been looking for alternative research methods that would give us most useful results within the availability.
How can you boost your web site’s credibility?
Trying to make your website incredible but still usable? Here are some guidelines provided by Stanford persuasive technology lab. Be aware - there are lots of research papers, so you might want to save them for later.
Usability and user experience: A beginner’s guide
This guide is suitable for those who are interested in learning usability and UX in the company. It’s fairly basic level but a good starting point. (You need to register before you can download the guide)
Scientific web design: 23 actionable lessons from eye-tracking studies
We’ve shown you various articles on eye-tracking before. It is definitely a technology that is growing rapidly in UX studies. Although this article didn’t bring any incredible results, it is a useful summary that you could instantly apply to your web design.

大部分软件的拖拽动作都有handle。鼠标在handle上,鼠标指针会有所变化。
更多的关于拖拽的设计模式,请参考雅虎的Design Pattern:
http://developer.yahoo.com/ypatterns/pattern.php?pattern=dragdropmodules
